This performance is presented in conjunction with Heartland Sings annual Vocal Arts Conference. This year’s theme is “Singing for Life” and culminates with the performance of two great works. Stephen Paulus’ opera, THE THREE HERMITS, tells the time-honored story by Leo Tolstoy which teaches us about inclusiveness and how God’s love is extended to all humanity. Morton Lauridsen’s exquisite choral work LUX AETERNA (which means “Light Eternal”) will be our tribute to those who have been lost to the pandemic. Duration: 90 minutes plus intermission
