Teaching Philosophy

I collaborate with and mentor young artists to instill confidence and knowledge. I emphasize the importance of vocal health and healthy singing practices, as well as the joy in creating art and connecting with individuals through performance. In addition to diction, clarity, and placement of the voice, my lessons have a heavy acting focus and help students to define their character’s objective in a song, to create the world in which their character lives, and to live truthfully in their imaginary circumstances.
