Everyone at Heartland has been working hard behind the scenes, getting ready to launch our spring donation campaign this year!  The tradition at Heartland has been to give our donors an opportunity to make matched donations in the spring.  One of our strongest supporters would offer to match donations up to a certain amount, and we would take that opportunity to the community, and we always got a fantastic response to the offer!  Last year, the spring fundraiser went on hiatus to make room for our Octave campaign, which kickstarted a new and expanded business model for Heartland.  But we’re back and bigger than ever with the RENEW campaign this year!

Thanks to a generous donation of $50,000 from one of Heartland’s strongest supporters, Heartland has two months - April 1st through May 31st - to raise a match of $50,000 for a total of $100,000.  That’s right: this is one of our biggest campaigns, and we can meet the challenge together!  Your donation of any amount will be matched dollar-for-dollar until time runs out or until we meet the goal of raising a total of $100,000 to support Heartland’s educational programming, arts outreach programs, and free cultural concerts available to everyone in our community.  

Does making monthly contributions of as little as $5 sound more practical for you?  Is it easier for you to give smaller amounts each month than one large gift at a time?  If so, you’ll want to consider becoming a Coda Donor!  Our new Coda Donor membership program makes it possible to give a monthly recurring donation with your debit or credit card.  And Coda Donors can also take advantage of the RENEW match for the value of year of monthly donations!  If you become a Coda Donor online here and sign up to give $10 monthly, then the total gift you will have given in a year would be $120.  Thanks to our generous donor, your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar.  The actual gift to Heartland will be double the amount: $240!  That makes every difference in our being able to plan for how many school visits we can make in a year, how many students we can work with, and how many hours of cultural programming for the community we can support.  Your Coda Donor gifts will continue to recur past that year for as long as you want them to, and because the gift is automated, it’s easy to sustain.  And if you become a Coda Donor during the RENEW campaign, you’re going to be in for a great thank-you and perhaps even a special opportunity for an incredible surprise gift!

Making a monthly or a one-time donation is quick and easy when you go to our donation page.  If you’ve got your credit or debit card nearby, it takes fewer than two minutes to make your donation!  We’ll follow up with a thank-you and a tax receipt, which you should keep for your records.  You can also call the Heartland office directly at (260) 436-8080 to make a donation, or if you prefer to give by check, you can mail donations made out to Heartland Sings Inc. and mail them directly to our office at 1516 Leesburg Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46808.
