Heartland Sings Presents ‘Peacemakers’ Concert in October

FORT WAYNE — Heartland Sings is set to kick off its 2024-2025 concert season with a powerful message of peace. Music will be the catalyst for peace at Heartland Sings’ concert, "The Peacemakers: A Call to Action for Peace" by Karl Jenkins scheduled for 4 p.m. on Oct. 13th at Southside High School.

The 75-minute program will feature Heartland Sings’ vocal artists and orchestra in a concert for the universal pursuit of peace.

The performance serves as an urgent call for peace in the present time, resonating with words from Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa, Anne Frank, Rumi, Christ, the Quran, Judaism, Saint Francis of Assisi, and Bahá’u’lláh. This diverse representation of voices highlights the shared message: "All religions, all singing one song: Peace be with you."

As part of Heartland Sings' commitment to making the arts accessible to all, there is no set ticket price for the concert; attendees are encouraged to pay what they can, starting at just $10.

Season tickets for the concert series are currently available until September 30th. For further information, and to purchase tickets, visit heartlandsings.org/concert-season.
