"Art brings the best of you" with Dr. Diana Jackson

Today (10/13) we had a conversation with Dr. Diana Jackson, the chairman of the board at Heartland Sings,  director of diversity and inclusion at Parkview Hospital, and a lover of ballroom dances.

"Dr. Diana Jackson-Davis was born in Manchester, England to British Nigerian parents and lived in Nigeria for several years before moving to Fort Wayne Indiana. She is the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Parkview Health and consultant with over 24 years of diversity experience. She considers herself an advocate for change and a lifelong educator, presenting on topics of diversity and inclusion and other related topics. She has a passion for serving and educating people about immigrants in the community. She is an expert in her knowledge of United States Customs Immigration Services (USCIS) reporting to Homeland Security as the Designated School Official and the Department of State as the Alternate Reporting Officer. She has worked extensively with Minority/International organizations, clubs, schools, and church organizations within the community and state, representing and serving as a liaison for minority/international and at-risk groups. Diana is a visiting Professor of 20+ years teaching Ethics, Philosophy, Sociology, Diversity Business and Women studies. She is also a certified family support worker/counselor/family specialist that trained intensively in case management for families and served as an advocate for families and is a certified Conflict Mediator. Diana has worked extensively with nonprofit organizations and serves on numerous boards and organizations." (Jackson, D., 2023)
